battery_charging_full Battery & Range
State of Health is a percentage that represents how much of the battery's original capacity remains. A brand-new Leaf starts at 100% SOH. Over time and use, this number gradually decreases. It's the single most important metric when buying a used EV.
This varies by age and usage, but most of our stock sits between 70% and 90% SOH. We display the SOH prominently on every listing so you can compare easily. Generally, anything above 75% is considered good for a used Leaf.
Real-world range depends on the model year, battery size, SOH, driving style, and conditions. A 24 kWh Leaf with good SOH typically achieves 120–150 km, while a 30 kWh model can reach 180–200 km. The 40 kWh and 62 kWh models offer even more. We list estimated range on every vehicle page.
Yes, all lithium-ion batteries experience gradual degradation. However, it's slower than most people expect. The Nissan Leaf battery is designed to retain significant capacity over many years of normal use. Climate, charging habits, and mileage all influence the rate.

ev_station Charging
Every Nissan Leaf comes with a granny charger that plugs into a standard 3-pin household outlet. For faster and more convenient daily charging, we recommend having a dedicated Level 2 (Type 2) wall charger installed by a qualified electrician. Most owners charge overnight and wake up to a full battery.
New Zealand has a growing network of public chargers. ChargeNet is the largest network with fast chargers along major highways. There are also chargers from Meridian, Z Energy, and various local providers. Our Charging Map page shows live charger locations across the country.
Significantly less. On average, charging an EV costs around $3–5 per 100 km on home electricity, compared to $15–20 per 100 km for a typical petrol car. That's roughly an 80% saving on fuel costs. Use our Finance Calculator to see the savings over time.
local_shipping Delivery & Logistics
